To quote Megan Tuttle, president of the NEA-NH: “That’s not right. If it’s not safe enough for the secretary of education of the United States to be there, the staff and students shouldn’t be there either.”
Also, FEMA is reneging on money that was supposed to reimburse schools for COVID-related expenses, too. Money has already been spent, can’t unring the bell. FEMA is probably stretched too far with hurricanes and wildfires, I guess? Too bad, property owners of New Hampshire. You’re going to have to dig deeper to bail out our public schools.
