An Amber Alert was issued Monday night for a 3-year-old boy who was kidnapped by his mother’s ex-girlfriend, according to authorities.

The mother is also missing, police said. The child is believed to be in danger.

The suspect, Ingrid Urbina-Centeno, 26, reportedly took the child at 12:15 p.m. driving a gray, 4-door Toyota Corolla, license plate LXR1070. The boy, Clayber Victor Laros-Reyes, was last seen in southwest Houston near Gessner Road and Bellaire Boulevard, police said.

According to police, Urbina-Centeno told the mother “I’m going to kill your son so it hurts you the way it hurt me when you left me.” The mother, Maria Garcia-Reyes, 29, pursued the woman but has not been heard from since, police said.

The boy stands at about 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing sandals and a white t-shirt. He has dark black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information has been asked to call the Houston Police Department at 713-308-3600.
