A Child Already Suffering, Suffers More

Four-year-old Masua Tusa was found badly burnt after tumbling down the stairs in his wheelchair, at his nursery. The kid is traumatized and embarrassed by the incident and is not being able to tell his mom exactly what happened.

Masua Tusa suffers from Cerebral Palsy, has trouble with his speech and communication. Masua is feeling very frightened to come back to his nursery in Auckland, New Zealand. Masua’s mother, Milly was called in by the nursery teachers and was told that her son suffered a “minor graze.”

The mother said that she thought that something really small happened to her son, as a minor injury. She was shocked to find her son’s face covered with horrifying burns. The burns looked severe. He had skin burns that were raw on his face from the top of his eyelid. He also had multiple scratches on the top of his lips and his nose. (Something sounds fishy)

Teachers Hiding Facts From The Mom?

The mother said that when she looked at her son she felt as though he was dragged on the floor and then he “fell” down the stairs. She immediately took him to the hospital to get the injuries inspected. The mother was extremely furious. Calling the teacher’s explanation “a load of cr*p.” The nursery teachers told Milly that Masua’s wheelchair was locked at the top of the stairs but he still managed to tumble down. Milly told the authorities that the nursery teacher claimed that she was standing in front of her son. Then how did she allow her son to fall off the stairs? (The teachers need to get their stories right)

“Naughty Teacher” To Blame

When Milly asked her son for his version of the events that occurred. All he could say was “mummy, naughty teacher.” Which to be honest is enough to know that the teachers are involved in injuring the 4-year-old. The boy is disabled and he is incapable of expressing his emotions. Which makes it difficult to know what exactly happened.

Milly also added that she was disappointed and she trusted the staff and teachers to take care of her disabled child. All this has left her heartbroken. She has also clarified that her son will not go back to the nursery.

The nursery is under inspection and is being investigated by the Ministry of Education, while the police have also been notified.
