An argument against reopening schools for in-person classes is that there’s not enough data to understand how the virus spreads among kids. Epidemiologists say that’s because they’ve been under-tested, partly due to mild or nonexistent symptoms. It leaves researchers with an unreliable pool of information as they make decisions.
