Wichita police are investigating a potential child abuse case.
The incident happened after 3 p.m. Friday afternoon in the 100 South Ridge apartment complex.
Police say a 5-month-old child was taken to St. Joe hospital by the parents, after reports of seizures and throwing up for 3 days.
The hospital examined the child and found several brain bleeds over several periods of time.
Hospital authorities called police and the child was transferred to St. Francis. The parents, a 24-year-old woman and 26-year-old male were taken in for questioning.
Another child, 4-year-old female, lived at the residence and was taken into police custody.
The case is still under investigation.
