About the Job
As the Regional Security Manager, you will be the primary Corporate contact for our Security division in the U.S.. This position will perform all security-related functions, including but not limited to:
Alarms:
· Receives service calls and emails from stores and routes to appropriate party (external vendors)
· Partners with Store Management for all alarm code changes
· Verifies all invoices for alarm monitoring services
· Coordinates response for alarm calls 24/7; ensuring that local management is en route to the store as needed and that alarm repair or guard service has been coordinated.
Cameras:
- Develops and designs camera layouts for new store builds and remodels
- Responds to camera service requests from Store Management and ensures cameras are repaired or replaced promptly
- During Security Site Surveys, ensures cameras are appropriately placed and functioning as per established Security Standards
Security Guards:
- Responds to guard requests from Store Management and partners with guard companies to ensure prompt deployment and coverage
- Identifies viable guard vendors in new and existing markets
Investigations/Critical Incident Response
· Conducts appropriate interviews to determine facts relating to robberies, burglaries and internal thefts
· Promptly reviews videos to determine facts and identify pertinent video evidence for local authorities
· Evaluates effectiveness of existing in-store security measures and make appropriate recommendations and/or modifications
Site Surveys:
· Conducts overall evaluation of existing security equipment to ensure effective protection of personnel and assets
· Ensure Video Management System operates effectively.
· Prepares store layouts that depict location of alarm devices and video equipment
· Discuss Security procedures and equipment with store employees, provide training as necessary
Miscellaneous:
· Administer the Corporate Access Control Security program, designating access levels and handling the issuance and collection of security badges
· Travel as necessary (approximately 25%) throughout the U.S.
· Reviews and reconciles Security related invoices
Position Requirements
- Prior experience in physical security
- Knowledge and experience in multi-site alarm monitoring and security hardware installation
- Knowledge and experience of CCTV and Video Management Systems
- Strong oral, verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and various other computer programs
- Strong project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines
- High School Education
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Military and/or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- Able and willing to travel overnight on short notice
