If you have ever wished for a way to start your car remotely from afar, here’s your solution. Viper developed a way for users of smart phones to interface with their cars via cell phones and released the application so it could be used with other vehicles. This guy used it to control his Acura using voice commands to Siri on his iPhone.
Starting the car is just the beginning. Using the Viper app interface, you could potentially control everything from the radio to the windshield wipers. Of course, being able to start your car and haveing it pre-warmed on a snowy morning is probably the most practical use.
