Senior Remote Access Security Technologist
The Corporate Information Technology Security group is looking for a Senior Remote Access Security Technologist to be part of the Global Ingress Services team. This position will be based in Garland TX, and will serve as a key contributor supporting multiple Remote Access technologies. The Ingress team manages multiple VPN and SSLVPN appliances deployed around the world to support the access needs of almost 50,000 users each month. The team is also responsible for key authentication and authorization components that support that infrastructure.
This position can be located in Garland, TX, Tucson, AZ or Tewksbury, MA.
Duties will include:
Cisco VPN appliance deployment and management
Cisco ACS appliance deployment and management
Troubleshooting connectivity issues related to remote access methods
Interfacing with peers to discuss designs, issues, and coordination of infrastructure changes
Interface with internal customers to clarify requirements, determine secure designs, and implementation of approved designs following organizational guidelines.
Other duties as assigned
This person will have local accountability for site-specific tasks and global accountability for infrastructures that are based at multiple Raytheon locations. It is expected that non-local support will be performed via remote connections; however, occasional travel may be required for this position.
Required Skills:
4+ years of Cisco VPN appliance and client support
4+ years of Cisco ACS authentication support
Experience with two-factor authentication technologies
Knowledge of networking protocols and security methods (TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, etc.)
Ability to effectively interact with internal and external personnel on technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations
Ability to systematically troubleshoot problems to determine root cause and resolution
Clearance: Must have ability to be granted a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with secure access from mobile devices
Experience with certificate-based authentication methods
Experience with SSLVPN technologies
Experience with web proxy software, appliances and processes
Experience with VMware or similar virtual technologies
Experience with configuration of firewalls or similar network filtering devices
Experience in general network administration
Required Education (including Major):
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
CISSP, CCNA or similar certifications a plus.
