Son of Arkansas district judge arrested for theft, fraud

JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) – The son of a district judge in Craighead County has been arrested for suspicion of theft and fraud. The Jonesboro Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1wOSADH) that 39-year-old Brent Blackman of Jonesboro is suspected of fraudulently using the credit card of an acquaintance and of taking pair of gold earrings from the victim’s home and pawning them. Blackman is the son of District Judge Keith Blackman, who declined comment on the case.
