Stomp Out Child Abuse Awareness Walk

WILLIAMSON – As part of Child Abuse Awareness Month, a Stomp Out Child Abuse Awareness Walk was held at noon Wednesday in downtown Williamson.

The walk began in front of the Mingo County Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) Office and ended at the Mingo County Courthouse.

Family Resource Network (FRN) Director Amy Smith discussed the walk and other events being held in support of Child Abuse Awareness month at a regular meeting of the Strong Through Our Plan (STOP) Coalition later that afternoon.
