The Archos Diamond S boasts a Super AMOLED screen, will be released in November

While most smartphones that feature Super AMOLED screens are made by Samsung, from time to time, we get to see non-Samsung handsets that use this display technology. The latest is the Archos Diamond S, which was announced today.

The Super AMOLED screen of the Archos Diamond S is a 5-inch one with 720 x 1280 pixels, so this is obviously not a high-end device. The new smartphone is powered by an octa-core, 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
