Trial date set for nail salon fraud suspect


MASON CITY – A Feb. 15 trial date has been set for a man accused
in connection with alleged credit card fraud at a Mason City nail
salon.

Nam Huu Nguyen, 36, was located working at a nail salon in
Waterloo earlier this month when he was taken into custody.

Nguyen was wanted on three counts of forgery and one count of
ongoing criminal conduct for allegedly stealing credit card
information from several customers of L.D. Nails in Mason City.


The alleged incidents took place in October, according to Mason
City police.

Nguyen remains in the Cerro Gordo County Jail under $50,000
bond.
