Eventide's Communications Division is seeking a Senior Web Applications Developer to join the group responsible for developing its flagship Voice and Data Recorder product lines. This is an opportunity to join small team of dedicated Software Engineers and Test Engineers in a fast paced environment. Our products are installed in thousands of sites worldwide in 24/7 high reliability environments such as Air Traffic Control, 911 Call Centers, and Trading Floors.
In this position, you will be building and supporting a suite of web-based multimedia applications which will display real time feeds of data as well as provide access to a large database of information and stream, mix, export, etc multimedia files, as well as other web applications as needed.
Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on web applications development. Skills required include:
* Demonstrated experience building web applications that provide dynamic content
* Demonstrated expertise developing web services
* Demonstrated expertise with layout/design in HTML and CSS
* Demonstrated experience with design patterns used in object oriented software development
* Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms
* Proficiency with Ajax,JSON and frameworks such as JQuery or YAHOO YUI
* Linux development experience with proficiency in bash scripting
* Experience with C/C++ (wt library experience is a plus)
* Experience with Python is a plus
