Woman Arrested For Identity Theft, Forgery In South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR — A Wethersfield woman was arrested in connection with an identity theft and forgery incident from earlier this year, police said. Kristen Kelleher, 33, of 49 Garden St., was arrested on a warrant Monday, according to Lt. Scott Custer. Custer said a complaint was issued in April that she had stolen $1,650 from a local elderly woman who had hired Kelleher to clean her apartment. Family members said Kelleher had forged several checks to make them out to herself and cashed them, Custer said. cComments Is she a state employee? She was held on $10,000.00 surety bond and was presented at Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday.
